The office will service the needs of existing clients in the Lehigh Valley and will provide a full range of services in intellectual property law and litigation. According to firm Managing Partner, David M. Tener, expanding the firm’s presence with an office in the Lehigh Valley will provide this technology-rich region with greater access to the firm’s unique talents in patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related litigation. “Our work frequently brings us to the Lehigh Valley where we have many clients ranging from independent inventors and startup companies to major corporations, universities, and healthcare providers. The Lehigh Valley office is headed by James Kozuch, a long-time resident of the Lehigh Valley who is an active member of the Bar Association of Lehigh County and has served in local government at both the township and county levels. Mr. Kozuch litigates intellectual property and commercial matters, and has been lead counsel in jury trials, bench trials, and hearings in cases involving patent and trademark infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of non-compete agreements, and breach of contracts. He also counsels clients on intellectual property law, prepares and prosecutes U.S. and international patent applications, and provides opinions on patentability, infringement, and validity. He is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), and is a Licensed Professional Engineer with experience in the energy and chemicals industries. He served on the Board of Commissioners for Salisbury Township, and on the Board of Commissioners for Lehigh County. An engineering graduate of Cornell University, Mr. Kozuch received a MBA from Lehigh University and his law degree from Temple University School of Law.
